Cody Pearson | Commercial Manager of The Australian | News Corp
With 14 years experience in media sales and management, Cody is currently the Commercial Manager of The Australian with responsibilities including the business strategy and direction, sales team management, P&L responsibility, key internal and external stakeholder management and a commercial lead on the recently launched News Prestige Network, which groups the leading AB audience titles from across News Corp.
It's a career that started as an account coordinator that's evolved and developed through News Corp's national and international offices with external awards including sales manager of the year at the Media i Awards and shortlisted for the prestigious Hegarty Scholarship for top Media Executives under 35.
Nikki Rooke | Sydney Sales Director | Southern Cross Austereo
Nikki Rooke’s career in sales started in Australia in 1998 with the Yellow Pages. From there she moved to The Austereo Radio Network for nine years as Account Manager, GSM, Sales Director of Direct and Agency Sales. She also spent some time in Pay TV in the position of Sales Director for Turner Broadcasting.
Since 2011 she has held the role of NSW Sales Director of Network Seven, working across Seven, 7Mate, 7Two and 7Flix. During that time she took a year off to spend with her baby daughter who is now two years old. Nikki manages a team of 40 people and works closely with media agencies and advertisers of all sizes. In addition to this, she leads the learning and development program across seven sales.
Nikki has recently made the decision to take up a new role back her old radio stomping ground and will be returning to SCA in November in the newly created role of National Head of Radio Sales.
Andrew DaSilva | Head of the Travel Team | MediaCom
Andrew currently leads The Travel Team at MediaCom which includes the Carnival Corporation, Uber, Avis and Budget, Agoda and American Airlines. The work our team does extends beyond media planning and buying and includes full service creative strategy, creative and content production, content distribution, analytics, business science, data modelling, research and data management solutions
