This session is for all facets of the media industry – for both Media Agencies and Media Owners. It will be led by senior people (10+ years’ experience) who have forged successful careers within the media industry. They will share their journey and provide expert career advice that they can take away with them.

Jeremy McNamara | Communciations Director | Ikon 

 

Jeremy began his career in 2006 at Starcom Brisbane and since then has held roles across trading, planning and strategy, allowing him to be an omnichannel all-rounder. He has worked across a variety of categories in Australia such as QSR, finance and gaming. Also spending time in London he developed strategies for P&G across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and also for Apple for whom he led the iPhone account across 5 Western European countries.

Jeremy’s current role is with Ikon Communications, where he heads up national planning for Subway Australia and New Zealand.

 

Kate Parry | State Sales Manager | Adshel

 

As an influential female leader, her path to success over 13 years’ experience in media sales has led her to the ever-growing out-of-home industry and Adshel. After nine years with Adshel moving through various roles, she found herself positioned on Adshel’s Sales and Marketing Leadership team driving strategy for the Queensland market and taking part in Adshel’s Women in Leadership program.

 

Kate feels that being a great leader is about being unique and inspiring in the role that you play in a team. She strongly believes that it is great leadership that drives culture, which in turn delivers greater performance.
