My First Job In The Industry

I worked for community newspapers in Perth in 1997 then moved to the big smoke.

Most Inspiring Moment In My Career So Far

I think the day I stepped on the plane to Sydney to start my new job, not having been there before and not one person I knew. I remember sitting on the plane thinking what the hell have I done. But working in media is a great place to meet people and develop solid friendships so I have survived, but as for my liver.....

Also I got told by a boss once that I was too emotional and had to reign it back - I thought about that and realised if I wasn't emotional and passionate about my job then why was I there, I never took their advice that time!

Most Challenging Task

Four letters FMCG. No, it can sometimes feel like the work will never end but the bigger budgets with the category give you a lot more scope to do some amazing campaigns so the end result is fairly satisfying.
