Description
The objective of this workshop is to motivate participants to take ownership of their careers by giving them simple steps on how to have an effective performance review and to set SMART goals.
At the end of the workshop, participants will:
• Have summarised key achievements to date toward their future performance reviews using the STAR process.
• Have an understanding on how to set SMART goals with 3 to work to and share with their manager.
• Have tools to help build empathy with their manager and how to receive and give constructive feedback.

• Guest Speakers Steve Sinha, Managing Director of OMD Melbourne and Peter Harvie, Chairman of Austereo
• What are your career aspirations?
• Where you’ve been & what you’ve achieved to date - framing this effectively. Introduction to principles of performance management/review process ‘STAR’.
• Define where you are going and how to get there. The road map. Setting SMART goals.
• Taking ownership of your journey. Having important conversations, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• At close of workshop, free 1 on 1 time to ask questions of the facilitators.
