Hi all,
I've just started out in the industry, and it's great. But I've never studied media advertising, even though my major at Uni was advertising. Media planning and scheduling was never really looked into.
What's the best advice you can give to help get started in the industry? I'm looking for information!
Thanks

Hi there,
NGen will be running an Intro to Media Workshop across 2 full days on 24 & 25 September. This would be perfect for you as you've just started.
People who have attended this workshop in the past have always given it 10 out of 10, saying that they learnt more about Media Advertising in the 2 days than they ever did in their 3/4 years at uni!
Hope that helps and please let us know if you need further advice.
cheers NGen

My recommendation is to keep asking questions. Try to find a mentor at your work and ask them as many questions as you can think of. The more answers you get, the more it'll start making sense.
Attend the NGen courses, they're great to get an idea of what to do, but ultimately it's application and real life experience that will help you become an expert. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.
